Ø Did Jesus say anything to Herod? See Luke 9:9

Ø Why did Pilate succumb to the demands of the chief priest and rulers?

Ø What did He say to the criminal who believed?

Ø What did He saw to the soldiers who mocked Him?

Ø What did He say to the crowd who challenged Him?

Ø Why did He respond to some and ignore the others? Application for today? Is God obligated to speak to those who reject Him?

23:44-49: Jesus' Death

24:13-35: Jesus' Visit on the Emmaus Road

Ø How was it that the two disciples did not recognize Jesus as He walked with them?

Ø What means did Jesus use to explain the events of the day to the two disciples? Application?

Ø When did Jesus allow them to really see Him? What can we determine about Jesus' glorified body from this passage?

Ø When they "saw" the resurrected Lord, what was their immediate response? Application?

24:36-53: Jesus' Appearance to the Disciples

Ø When Jesus appeared to the disciples and the others in Jerusalem, did they believe it was He?

Ø Did touching His wounds convince them? What finally convinced them?

Ø Has anything changed or does one still understanding from the Lord to grasp the truth of the Scriptures?

Ø Why did He tell them to stay in the city?

Ø Try to imagine the scene as Jesus was taken up into heaven before His disciples. Now try to imagine what it is going to be like when we are taken up into heaven to meet Him face to face.
